A section of State Highway 30A in Rotorua is closed following a crash.
"A serious crash has been reported to emergency services at the intersection of SH30A - Amohau St - and Tutanekai St in Rotorua city centre," says a Waka Kotahi NZTA spokesperson.
"Follow the directions of response crews in the area."
Motorists are advised to expect delays and diversions.
The road will be closed until further notice.
