Police are now able to confirm the name of the man who died following a crash on State Highway 1 in Tokoroa on Saturday.
He was Keith Robert Roebuck, 70, from New Plymouth, says a police spokesperson.
"Police extends its sympathies to his family and friends.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
