One lucky Lotto player wins $1 million

It will be a Labour weekend to remember for one lucky Lotto player from Auckland after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Westgate Pharmacy in Auckland.

Powerball was not struck last night and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million.

Strike Four also rolled over last night and will be $300,000 on Wednesday.

Thirteen Lotto players will be having an extra special long weekend after each winning $19,140 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $34,635. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Whitcoulls New Plymouth in New Plymouth.

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at New World Mt Roskill – Auckland, New World New Lynn – Auckland, MyLotto – Auckland, Te Aroha Four Square -Te Aroha, Kawerau Foodmarket & Lotto – Kawerau, New World Te Kuiti - Te Kuiti, Whitcoulls New Plymouth (+PB) - New Plymouth, Eastbourne Four Square – Eastbourne, Pak n Save Lower Hutt - Lower Hutt, Westport New World – Westport, Countdown Ashburton South – Ashburton, MyLotto – Ashburton, and MyLotto – Dunedin.

Anyone who bought their ticket from Westgate Pharmacy or any of the other locations should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it at any Lotto NZ outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
