A car has allegedly hit a horse in an early morning crash in the Bay of Plenty.
A police spokesperson says they received a report of a car hitting a horse on Onepu Springs Road around 6.30am.
The incident occurred near Thompson Road.
'No injuries were reported.
'When we attended we were unable to locate anything,” says the spokesperson.
