In their first game of the season the Bay of Plenty Rugby Toa team took a clearly satisfying win over Thames Valley Under 23 with a score of 43 to 25.

The game was played at Rotorua International Stadium, with kick off at 11.45am.

With the Jock Hobbs Memorial Tournament cancelled for 2021, the Bay of Plenty Toa (Under 19's) are instead playing over the next three weeks against Thames Valley which was held today, and then Taranaki, and Waikato in a makeshift regional tournament.
Unfortunately under Alert Level 2 restrictions the match today was played with no GA public ticket sales. It was also not able to be watched online, dismaying friends and families of the players who wanted to provide their support in some way.

Also at Rotorua International Stadium today Bay of Plenty Wasps U13 were due to play King Country at 12.30pm.

The Bay of Plenty Steamers are playing Wellington Lions this afternoon, with kick off at 2.05pm. The half-time score was 14-12 to the Steamers. SunLive will provide an update once the game has finished. Unfortunately under Alert Level 2 restrictions the match will be played with no GA public ticket sales, but supporters can watch the game Live on Sky Sport 1.
