Lotto player wins $1 million

One lucky Lotto player will be having a weekend to remember after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in Saturday night's Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Hawkes Bay.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday night and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $10 million. 

Strike Four was not struck on Saturday night and will be $300,000 on Wednesday.

Eight lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $30,074 with Lotto Second Division in last night's Lotto draw.

Two lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $ 37,815. The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Whanganui.

The rest of the country is currently at Alert Level 2. Lotto NZ counters outside the Auckland region are open and will continue to follow the Government's health and safety guidelines.
