Police can confirm the name of the man who died in a crash on SH5, Ngatira on Wednesday.
He was Brooke John Thomas, 55 of Reporoa.
The crash, involving a milk tanker and a mowing tractor, occurred about 10.40am.
Thomas, who was driving the tractor, died at the scene,
"Police extends its sympathies to his family and friends.
"The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing," says a police spokesperson.
