A person died after a motorbike crash in the Bay of Plenty on Friday night.
Police confirmed one person has died following the single-vehicle crash on Bridge Street, in Ōpōtiki, at around 6.43pm.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
The road was reopened around 11pm.
