Front door smashed in suspected burglary

Police are investigating a suspected burglary in Rotorua this morning.

A police unit was driving along Te Ngae Road, near Owhata, during a routine patrol around 5am, when it observed a front door of a commercial premises smashed.

A police spokesperson says nothing appears to have been taken at this stage.

"Police are currently conducting enquiries to establish what has happened."
